Privacy Policy
Effective 26 September 2026
Sunnah Habits collects no data. There is no account, no sign-in, no sync and no server behind the app. This policy describes what the app does with the information you put into it, all of which stays on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. We receive no personal information, no usage statistics, no device identifiers and no crash reports. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
What is stored on your device
Your practices, completions, streaks, exemptions and settings are written to a database inside the app's own storage on your phone. They are never uploaded. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it.
Location
If you allow it, the app reads your location once to calculate prayer times on the device. The coordinates are saved locally so the calculation can be repeated, and they are never transmitted, shared or turned into a place name. You may skip the location step, type coordinates by hand, or change or remove them later in Settings. Everything except prayer-anchored reminder times works without it.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by your phone. There is no push server and no push token. Nothing about a reminder leaves the device.
Sharing and export
- Export (Settings) writes your data to a JSON file and hands it to the system share sheet. You choose where it goes; the app keeps no copy.
- Share on a practice, and Share the app, open the system share sheet with text you can see. Both are started by you.
- View on sunnah.com opens that page in your browser. From that point you are on sunnah.com and their own privacy practices apply.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. There are no accounts, no user-generated content, no social features and no purchases, and no data is collected from anyone — including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
